4/12/09 oops! Did not realize so much time had gone by since the last update. Sent out our annual family newsletter and figured I better get on top of it :o) There are lots of new pix in the album and a cute video with a surprise ending!! Hope your first fourth of the year went well and the rest of it brings you some laughs :o)
11/3/08 Halloween has come and gone. Corbin was a brown bear, Larissa was Princess Leia. We did pumpkin carving on halloween for fun, Corbin thought the pumpkin guts were yucky and Buffy thought anything pumpkin she could get her teeth into was fabulous. It made for quite an interesting adventure! Lots of new pix in the album :o)
10/4/08 Hard to believe our little guy is two! He is getting so big and of course we think he is brilliant. He loves to identify letters, colors, and shapes. He had such a great time for his birthday and has a new puppy for a best buddy as a present! So now we are really running to keep up with it all...lol New pix in the album, enjoy :o)
8/25/08 Apparently the updates are going to get fewer and further in between as Corbin gets older. Sorry about that, he definitly keeps us busy!! Hard to believe that he will be 2 soon, it has all gone by so fast. I finally loaded new pictures and videos are loaded now as well. Hope your summer was a lot of fun, I think you will be able to tell that Corbin's was!!!
6/29/08 Yikes! Summer has been so crazy we let the updates slide right by us! Corbin has been into all kinds of things, he has expanded his "sign" vocabulary as well as his "vocal" vocabulary. There is not a word he won't try so we are having to be more careful of what he hears! He has suffered from his first majorish childhood disease which was hand, foot, and mouth disease. The blisters are fading now and the "owies" are about gone as well. He is starting to show an interest in the "potty" so we sre looking at what the best way to go on toddler toilets is going to be. Can't believe the fourth of July is just next week, summer is certainly flying by! Will have to see about getting some new pictures and video taken next week to get up on here :o)
4/20/08 Our little guy is growing and changing all the time! His 18 month appointment went well, we are on track with shots and he is a healthy 31 pounds and 34 inches!! This past week Uncle J came home from his first tour in Iraq so Corbin and I ventured down to see him, Grandma and Grandpa Texas came up, Uncle J's girlfriend Ashley flew out and met us there so it was lots of fun and spoiling for Corbin for sure!! First there was the welcome home ceremony, then we celebrated Christmas, Easter, went swimming and just generally had lots of fun :o) I added lots of pictures to the gallery and picked out a few to show you now!!!
2/19/08 We had over 2 feet of snow on the ground and it seemed like fun to show the depth with Corbin! Dale dug down to the sidewalk at the end of the steps and we stood Corbin in front of the wall of snow. You can see it is level behind him; there were drifts in the yard and the road taller than the car!! Larissa decided to put a bucket on top of the snow for one picture to make it more obvious just how tall the snow was! This has been one crazy winter, Corbin definitely has the word snow down and knows it means fun and cold!!
Be sure to click into the gallery, there are a few shots of Corbin riding his worm at Granny’s, we tried calling it caterpillar but worm is lots easier for him to say lol!! He can rock it all over the floor now, much different from the days when he would climb on it at Grandma’s and just bounce. New video coming early next week!!!
2/3/08 This here is front page material lol it is a video of Corbin sitting on his sled making his animal sounds for his sister!! I have also finally uploaded videos from sledding and Christmas!!! (Be sure to click the video links)
1/27/08 Had Corbin out in his sled today, pix in the gallery and video to come soon!!
1/3/07 Where has the last year gone? Corbin is getting so big and doing so many new things all the time! He gets regular hair cuts as his hair grows really fast! He is a big fan of Elmo and loves to sing and dance! Corbin enjoyed Christmas, he was really excited about getting to tear up paper or peek into bags and dig for things! The boxes thrilled him almost as much as the toys that came in them and big sis was a great help if there was something he just couldn't get open on his own. New pictures in the gallery and new video coming by the end of the month :o) Happy New Year from our crew to yours, hope this year is everything you could want it to be and more!!
Just a reminder, past typing and videos can be found in the journal and more pictures can be viewed in the photo gallery!! THANKS for stopping by!!
